PURPOSE (MISSION)

Manages the implementations of a Centralized Routing System Project for Oman, from mapping of the geo-codes and requirements of the clients until the standardization of the route feedback from the drivers in order to meet the Customers Satisfaction thru the on time delivery.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Graduation/ Experience

Graduate of Engineering or any Business course

Knowledge in Supply Chain Management is an advantage

At least 3 years experience in Transport Management of FMCG products (fast moving consumer goods)

Experience in Planning, execution and system implementation pertaining to Road net / Tracking environment.

Specific Knowledge / Skills

Professional skills

  • Strong Organizational and Planning skills
  • Good numeral and financial management skills
  • Verbal and written skills in Arabic and English;
  • Documents and file management.
Technical skills

  • Computing (Microsoft Office and SAP)
  • Experience with Road net and Territory Planner Systems required
  • Good knowledge of the territory where is operating

RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1 – Assists in planning and ensures that all routes and schedules are precise, accurate thru proper communication with the drivers to meet the Customers expectations.

2 – Assigns the Transportation resources accordingly with the demand and optimization analysis, aiming to achieve the transportation cost target and the service level required by the Sales team.

3 – Conducts optimization analysis to define the fleet profile and the frequency of deliveries per region, considering optimum economic solution per each channel and value service package.

4 - Updates and makes continuous improvements in the system parameters aiming to reflect as much as possible the dynamic reality of the market trends.

5- Operates on daily basis with the Routing System, creating the Delivery plan, interacting with the 07 different branches.
