Officer Ramp Base Station New Muscat Airport Jobs Vacancy in Oman Air Muscat Jobs Details:
Ensure that designated responsibilities are executed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of Oman Air.
Shall comply with laws, regulations and procedures of the State of work location.
Be familiar with the laws, regulations and procedures pertinent to the performance of the duties.
Accountable and responsible to execute quality responsibilities in accordance with Quality Assurance Operations Manual
Accountable and responsible to execute safety responsibilities in accordance with Safety Management Systems Manual.
Coordinate with Oman Air – Airport Services Duty Manager all issued pertaining to Ramp and On Board.
Supervise baggage processing to ensure correct tagging and segregation of baggage at make-up area on shift basis.
Supervise loading of bags and monitor loading and offloading of baggage sequence.
Check baggage details (DCS K-EDIT) on every departing flight to ensure accuracy and take immediate corrective action on any shortfalls.
Ensure all disembarking passengers at baggage claim area received their baggage within the established standard time of baggage delivery.
Instruct ramp departure on bulky and heavy baggage.
Supervise quick transfer of bags / Coordinate with other airlines on left behind baggage
Coordinate with catering on extra meals.
Last minute of upgrading of guest, Solving guest issues on board, Obtain quick boarding clearance.
Be present on any special handling passengers , boarding VIPs , UMs , STCR
Coordinate with engineer’s in-case of A/C technical and obtain estimated time of departure.
Monitor proper handling and provide feedback to ASDM on the delay attribution
Liaise with Cabin Crew Standard Aircraft appearance Section on regular basis and follow up with feedback on aircraft cabin cleanliness and the continued comfort of passengers.
Maximum utilization of space
Forward left behind baggage on first available WY-flight or suggest on other airlines whenever needed
Supervise loading / offloading of baggage handbags, auto boarding, OTP, sufficient ramp staff, transportation of passenger on time with Quality busses
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of left behind baggage and baggage related queries.
