Stakeholder Specialist Oman Jobs Vacancy in Aecom Jobs Details:

AECOM are currently seeking a Stakeholder Specialist to oversee the liaison and create / maintain links of communication within key parties involved on the Oman Projects.

Job Duties:
+ Developing and fostering community relationships and supporting AECOM as the public face of AECOM on Oman projects.

+ Managing the interface between AECOM personnel and all external stakeholders in an organized and systematic manner. Key Stakeholders include: Technical Committes, Government Departments,Oman Municipality, Authorities and Agencies, Contractors, Plot Developers, Media, and Community Representatives.

+ Preparing and Translating periodic progress report presentations to the key Stakeholders to ensure continuous engagement, producing minutes of meetings and follow up schedules.

+ Leading Stakeholder engagement for Oman projects maintaining the relationship, collaboration, and consistency in all written and verbal correspondence.

+ Managing stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue, and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and interests.

+ Supporting the overall permitting process to mitigate project delays.

+ Providing liaison and coordination services with all government bodies and other service providers with respect to the planning and approvals for design and construction of the Projects.

+ Monitoring compliance by the Design Consultants (either internal or external) with the requirements of any governmental approvals and regulations and advise on appropriate measures to expedite clearances and approvals.

+ Undertakes discrete tasks on a small/medium project under the general guidance of an Stakeholder management unit Lead/Project managers.

+ Competent with Stakeholder management unit systems such as Trackers preparation, monitoring any delays affecting projects schedule

+ Coordinate planning efforts affecting impacted stakeholders for all project plans, including governance, communication end user and stakeholders to maintain a consistent and accurate message from project staff.

+ Identifies all stakeholders that need to know, what they need to know and when they need to be informed.

+ Maintains the implementation of the stakeholder(s) management register and updates as required

+ Good knowledge of planning processes required to coordinate with the authorities and government entities for clarifications, justifications and permitting by statutory authorities

+ Supports and facilitates SM/ unit Lead/design managers with the overall permitting process to secure required Approvals, NOCs and Permits for the projects

+ Ensures PMs deliver required documents on schedule and in accordance with Authorities’ requirements, guidelines & standard specification

+ Coordinates with Government authorities regarding project submissions, revisions, clarifications, approvals, justifications and approvals by statutory authorities

+ Reviews all document completion processes to be submitted as required by the local authorities on behalf of AECOM

+ Monitors projects progress. Notifies the PM/unit. Lead of any potential risks in the permitting process that could impact the schedule and update status via dashboards periodically.

Minimum Requirements

+ Applicants would ideally come from an Engineering / Project Management / Public Relations background, with at least 5 years’ experience within stakeholder management/Authorities’ Liaison position in Oman.

+ The successful candidate will ideally need to have Oman specific experience and knowledge of procedures and Government processes as well as current links at senior levels with Government, Utility providers and telecommunication companies in Oman.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor Degree in Stakeholder Management related subject.
